Jim Buie is Founder and Managing Partner of MVP Partnerships and a former data center CEO with more than 30 years of experience in digital infrastructure, cloud and network services. As CEO of ValorC3 Data Centers, he led commercial and organizational transformation, expanded enterprise and hyperscale customer relationships, and advanced new data center development. Previously, Jim served as President and CEO of Involta, helping grow the business from three to 13 data centers, complete four acquisitions and transition from founder-backed financing to institutional capital. His earlier leadership experience includes Comcast, ViaWest, and other infrastructure businesses. Today, he advises investors, developers and operators on AI infrastructure, colocation, power strategy, capital formation and scalable growth. He frequently speaks on the convergence of AI demand, power availability and the next generation of data center development.
