Alex Marshall is Group Business Development and Marketing Director at Clarke Energy, a Rehlko business and one of world's largest specialists in life of asset power solutions in the data center space. He has worked in distributed energy for more than two decades across some thirty countries, spanning gas engines, combined heat and power, biogas, and microgrids, and has been active in the data center power conversation since 2016. He is the author of the Structured Transition Model for a decision framework for data center energy strategy, and the independent book "Five Nines and Fast Power". He is Vice President of the Cogen World Coalition, a Council Member of the World Biogas Association, a Chartered Environmentalist, and a Fellow of the Chartered Insitution of Marketing, and holds an MBA from Manchester Business School.
